1. Batmans Begins: I watched it as batman fan but damn it was goooood
2. Mr n Mrs. Smith: pitt and jolie are hotttt on screeen. kudos to them
3. The longest Yard: Ok I like comedy, it was fine but Nothing in my view compared to above two.
Where is Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and Star Wars.. and coming up looking forward to War of the Worlds.
How did you miss Land of the Dead????????
war of the worlds.... looks so dang good
mr. & mrs. smith was good... saw it with my friend who is inlove with angelina jolie.....its funny to listen to lesbians cary on and on about her
everything else.... im cheep so i havent seen it yet... waiting for pay-per-view
Batman all the way! (I haven't seen the other titles). I liked Batman because unlike the Spiderman flicks, you get the feeling that the theme was made by adults, for adults. There just seemed to a bit more mature theme, something that is lacking in a lot of new movies these days. Batman is the man. Props to WB for coming out with a refreshing movie.
Saw batman last week and really enjoyed it. Would have liked to have seen more of Scarecrow in it but it looks like he'll be back in the sequel.
I read a rumor that Mark Hamill is a contender for the Joker role having voiced the character in the cartoon. Seems a bit far fetched to me. They'l have a job beating Jack's joker from the first batman.
Going to see war of the worlds next week, looks good and Legue of Gentlemen's Apocalypse. I doubt that one will make it state side but then again Shaun of the Dead did quite well.
League of Gentlemen movie?????
Thats has got to be the most ****ED up TV show on the planet. In fact I love Royston Vasey. Is that the same League of Gentlemen? If so... there is definitely a cult audience in America... but the DVD will definitely be available. :D
Kingdom of Heaven is going to be nice along with Mr. and Mrs. Smith.... I guess.
How can you leave out War of the Worlds?
It tops all three of those movies. At least on my scale.
Blah... I seen the original war of the worlds and hated it. You know this will be the same but will have better effects this time around. *Cough *Fart *Sneeze *Barf... "I saved the world"!
I remember good ol' Jack on an award show years back. I could read his lips in the crowd as Bill Murray took the stage.... and with a sarcastic look on his face you could see Jack leaned over to the person next to him as he said, "Jesus christ, now there's a joker!" HAH!
Yeah but have you actually heard the voice overs? Also remember that he doesn't look the same as he did in Star-Wars... he seriously looks ****ed up now... I think he would make a great Joker if not just an awsome movie villain.Quote:

Hey, Mark Hamil did pretty good as ****-Knocker. :) The super villian.
The orginal War of The Worlds was great. Dated but great for it's time. More geek science fiction than action. I saw a preview of the new one and it looked like they changed it enough to be original. After all it's not a movie remake if they go to the book and make their own artistic interpretion. Look at the difference between the older animated Lord of the Rings and the new series. Even different directors for a film remake can spin a fresh tale. I am looking froward to it...
Yes. I'm not a huge fan but the trailers are really funny.Quote:

[trivia]Royston Vasey is th real name of a British ultra offensive comedian called Roy 'Chubby' Brown. The writers were fans and named the town after him. He appeared in an episode.[/trivia]
I saw the new WotW last night. For a 12A (would that be a US PG-13?) it was bloody scary. I was genuinely tense for a lot of the film. The tripods should be rediculous but I found them very threatening. You can pick holes in lots of it if you think too hard. The ending seems to come very quick but the story is told from the point of view of Ray who wouldn't know the big picture so you don't get to know it. Don't wait for the DVD its a big screen picture. SF are some of the most realistic I've seen.
I'd have liked it better if they wiped us out and took over the earth but that wouldn't be true to the book.
The book is worth reading. It's very short but an amazing leap of imagination for it's era.
It's out of copyright so I've attached it.
