Well we have a Christmas thread why not make one for presents. What did everyone get? What was the best gift you gave? only things i got was Acqua Di Gio from gore and some movies. besides getting shot and family being well um family it was cool got to spend time with my real family which is 4 people heh.
Lets see I got the following :
Fossil Watch , Ralph Lauren Romance Cologne , a couple of Burton Hoodies , $50 gift certificate for Chapters , The Chronicles of Narnia boxed set that's all I asked for ...
Overall I am happy with what I received .... Anyways I'd rather spend time with my family, g.f. & close friends then receive a bunch of gifts ...

Well let's see.....I got the usual, socks,underwear, a sweatshirt, shaving soap, blades,toothbrush,winegums...oh and a boxed set of the original Star Wars (DVD)...at my age, that's all I need..... ;)
First Christmas my daughter was not here (in NFLD), kinda weird, prelude to that "empty nest syndrome" thingy I guess.......waiting for the next generation :p

was the only thing I wished for, other than that I got the usual assortment of money, gift vouchers, cds and dvds :) all in all a good christmas :)

I got March of the Penguins on DVD, Halloween H20 on DVD, "devil's Plaything" on DVD (My first German horror movie), the re-release of the first Coal Chamber CD with DVD..
The Legend of Johnny Cash, Rammnstein Herzleid, Quake, Quake 2, Quake 4, Unhinged DVD, Huge bottle of Armani Acqua Di Gio (I got Mandrake a bottle for his present and got a bigger one from my uncle), More DVDs, House on Haunted Hill on DVD (Original version), The Phantom Creeps on DVD, The Bat on DVD... Lots of goodies.
I got... New socks, and a Pumpkin Pie.
It was a good Christmas. I didn't have to deal with people, and nobody tried to drag me into family ****.
Oh, gore! March of the Penguins is a great movie! Esp considering how cold it gets where they filmed it.
I got a toaster oven, a 3-in-1 crockpot/steamer/deep fryer and a Bay gift card. Not much but was what I needed and wanted. I think I would have preferred being with my family if I could have swung it.
So the other thing I get (or will get) is extra pay from VMWare for working yesterday, today and tomorrow. :D

Today is my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of playing Doom. Got it and Doom 2 and Final Doom last year for Christmas :)

Gore, how do you like the new Rammstein - Rosenrot CD. I think it's great.
I haven't heard the new one yet. I have all of them but that one now.
And I didn't count the days from when I first started playing, I just remembered because I got it last year for Christmas along with the at the time new Danzig CD which I by the way highly recommend.

Lol there were lots of kids screaming last night. My cousin Matt got me a hand gun with paint ball rounds in it so we shot a pizza box.... And I shot Mandrake Tux about 3 times. Lol wonder how his toe feels.

from others I received a grand total of $250 cash, two $50 gift cards to wal mart, a remote control helicopter, and a new graphite fishing rod. Not a bad haul at all :D

I got a really happy family
Well I guess this Christmas was better than all the others infact it was better than thanks giving.
See me and my fam was invited over to my mothers home for thanksgiving this year. Be here at 2 she said. Well at 12 I get a call where are you at. Well dont have to be there till two, im at home getting ready. Well my mom tells me dinner is done and they where about to eat. Now I live about an hour away from my mom so we fly over there to get leftovers and no one bothered to try my wifes sweat potatoes. Boy I was Pissed.
So this Christmas I got a case for my bow from my Wife, Gift card =25 dollars for my family, three shirts, and cocoa from my mom. My brother gave me gift card to chucky cheeses (WTF).
Looking at my last thread on what you want for christmas, this isnt what I wanted. Oh well, never is.
Wish I had more greenies for christmas.
Well, I know it's been forever since I last posted, but I'm back!
Let's see, what did I did I get:
A 2nd D-Link gigabit network card for the slackware 10.2 server.
About 100 bucks worth of gift certificates to Barnes & Noble (people really listened!). Now I'm going to get that QMail book I've been wanting forever.
A Scrabble soup set with two huge cups (Melanie and I love playing scrabble!).
A 50 buck gift certificate to thinkgeek.com.
I got Melanie the following:
A 2-quart digital-readout with three heat settings crockpot.
A $160 mixer that she wanted from KitchenAid (used it today to make cornbread) that she REALLY wanted.
A book on the United States Constitution from Barnes & Noble that she wanted as well.
And most importantly....I got...engaged! Proposed to Melanie about 2 weeks ago! WOOT!

I got a Roady XT (XM Satellite Radio - both a car and a home kit), some XBox games (the original Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six 3), some free weights (25 lbs.), Freakonomics ("A rogue economist explores the hidden side of everything", a fantastic book by Steven Levitt, arguable the brightest mind in this country before I arrived), a bunch of clothes, an ultrasonic tape measure, 5,000 more drill- and screwdriver bits (yay!), a couple blades for my circular saw, 3 rare Morgan silver coins and a Bible (*gasp* - from my mother in law), The West Wing Season 5 (to complete my collection!), a Circuit City gift card (which I used to get Need for Speed and some small goodies), and some other little goodies!
Uhhhh, what exactly type of "Morgans" are you talking about? I'm tired but that sounds a lot like a certain coin I have seen, but no one would buy it for anyone... Mainly because it costs as much as that car I talk about. The coins I have aren't worth THAT much but a few are quite good. Like the 300 year old German coins I have, and some solver certificates from America....

I've got an 1882 (UNC), an 1884 (EXF), and an 1892 (XF), which are fairly decent, but not worth nearly as much as a new car ;)
I don't have a Morgan, but I do have some Gold coins, a lot of old ones, and some silver and... Hmm, It's hard to name them all off, My safe is in my closet, but it has some from Africa, some from Japan, and Mexico, and some france and Germany. The newest coin in there is from around 1950, it's 100$ in Mexican.... Not sure about it exactly, I put it in with the rest and haven't checked it out.
I had to leave all my coins in Belgium (too expensive to bring it over...)... I do have a bunch of golden ones, though, in case of inflation or natural disaster :D
I got some gift cards,clothes for Canada, money for Canada and my first Digital Camera! A Kodak C310 :) im happy
since i switched to natural gas there's no point in Santa stopping by :-(

There are two things I have worth way more than my coin collection:
I have an original Misfits pin from back in the day when they made them by hand,
And a Comic book from the movie "Halloween" Super... Something or toher platinum edition, only 2500 made and the number mine is... I searched Ebay for it a few years ago and found one ripped for 200 dollars, mine is mint and has yet to be taken out of the covering. You have to rip open the plastic so I know it hasn't been touched.
