Which operating system is better for 2 GB Ram?
Win 7 and better yet Linux Antix-15
Actually Win 10 Pro 64 bit is running fine on 2 GB of ram for me.
The API's they use to create semi-transparent menus causes a noticeable lag. From Windows95 to Windows10 certain GDI objects in explorer.exe to this very day... still have memory leaks. It doesn't matter how much ram you have because the GUI alone will rape your graphics cards. This is the sort of thing that made Vista unusable. Switch to Windows7 or 8 to the classic theme and you'll notice right away how much speed you've gained (especially when compared to Vista or Windows10.)
Enjoy having backdoored software (Edge won't let you alter security settings correctly) Apps phone home with every keystroke (supposedly to help the developers of spell-checking). Oh and there is adware in your start menu (that tiled menu nobody clicks on).Quote:

Or you can do it manually in Windows updates.
kb:3035583 is the specific update that puts the Windows 10 nagware icon in your systray.
Do not forget to set updates off of Auto an block these silly things or the will just reinstall.
Thanks for the information....
