Hi.. could use a little help

Now for the help request: recently a number of folks on aol are being attacked. I was one last night. It seems that someone has figured out how to hack using the instant message program..Now I have already heard about the aim issue, but I wasn't using it. Does anyone know of a trojan that will allow attacks on those using aol 6.0 or 7.0 through the Instant Messenger?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
