After searching the threads looking for a link to a product that I wanted to try, I thought that perhaps a (Forum?) section strictly for dumping links to products, services, etc. could be set up to make quicker work out of obtaining such things.
I know that there is already a download section of the site as well as a Product Reviews forum, but most of the links that I run across aren't in either of those.

Here's what I'm thinking...categorized by function, i.e. browsers, firewalls, ping/trace tools, etc., a list with the PRODUCT NAME and the LINK only...no opinions (I enjoy forming those on my own, as I'm sure most others do).

For example:

FIREWALLS

ZoneAlarm - www.zonelabs.com/zonealarm
...etc...

SPYWARE REMOVAL

AdAware - www.lavasoftUSA.com
...etc...

You get the idea...
This idea just popped into my head, and haven't really thought about the difficulty involved in implementing such a thing, but if anyone else would care to flesh out the idea some, please do so...

There is a product reviews section...it is pretty close to what you're looking for, I think.

I am aware of that section of the site...what I'm thinking of is just a LIST of said products, with some way of dynamically 'plugging' links into it by the users ourselves...
