I think the minimum length of an HP-UX password is eight characters, at least on of which must be a number.

I used Tod Lammle's book from Sybex for my CCNA. Also used the routers ar r1r2.com for practice. Basically a pretty easy test if you know your subnetting, OSI model and router commands.

I find that most varinats of Linux are quite similar once you get past the comsetics. I started out using Caldera but find Slack just as good.
