hi guys,

in red hat 7.1 samba configuration file is in the path
/etc/samba/smb.conf ..that is for sure as i work on it...infact when you install the rpm you will get that file plus the smbd and nmbd...

open the file /etc/fstab using vi editor..for that at the prompt, as root, type
vi /etc/fstab
then in insert mode type in the line that is mentioned above in some of the replies
