as MsMittens say rm could be quite dangerous ...
So you can use the alias command to help you :

nn@cool ]$ alias rm="rm -i" (it's remove interactively, so ask for removing a file :) )

and if...

Perhaps you can had some other useful command...
for example use < b > less < /b > instead of more so you can view the file in both direction ...
to view some HOWTO nicely (when they appeared...
