    Perl compiler

I'm looking for a decent Perl compiler (free or shareware) for Winblows...any suggestions?

    Windows Perl Compiler

    Hello cF_nM,

I know of only one Perl compiler for Windows... It's made by ActiveState... Here is a link to the download page:

    http://www.activestate.com/Products/.../download.plex

It's an 8 - 9MB download and installs easily, I currently use it...and haven't had any problems with it.

    I hope this has helped

ActiveState is probably the only place you'll find a perl binary for windows.

Oh, and you don't usually compile perl programs, you *interpret* them, so you should really be looking for a perl *interpreter* (since it's a scripting language).
