Becoming a doctor takes another four years (I see where the confusion is coming from - I didn't know the D. in Ph.D. was for doctor, I thought it was for degree ) . So, I'm just a licentiate in philosophy... No intentions on becoming a doctor...
    Negative; the right terms are:

    Candidate = BA (Bachelor)
    Licentiate = MA (Master)
    Doctor = Ph. D.

    I'm only 14. I didn't know that there were so many teens. I thought that nearly everyone which visits this site would be 21+

    It's intresting how everyone (well mostly) acts very mature on these forums even though there's a lot of 15 - 19 year olds. I don't see a lot of swearing unless they're flames other than that this is a very 'mellow' forum.
    oh, and i'm 15 .

    Hi there!

    Most say that women tend to shy away from talking about age. Oh well, not for me, I do not need to hide mine. I am happy to say that I am a big sis to most guys and girls here bec. of my age, which is 25

    A blessed day to all!

    I expect to pass through this life but once. Therefore, if there be any kindess I can show, or any good thing I can do for another human being, let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again.-William Penn

    Thumbs up

    i agree hellbringer87!

    i've crossed paths with some people in their 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's who act less mature, are less informed and aren't nearly as articulate as most of the teenagers here. in my opinion, the teenagers at AO are quite an exceptional group of people.

    I'm sorry, but I'm not the one who brought this one back to the top. I'm just as amazed it came back as you are. I thought it was dead and gone too, but apparently not. It's at 8 pages so far. I wonder how much longer it's going to get.

    I do like the movie-style pitch though.
