I need help!!!

Hey whats going on fellow members. I'm a newbie here and would like to know what else besides a firewall would i need in protection against hackers. I get hacked constantly i'm sure i'm not the only one. sub seven back door trojans port scans u name it! I just want to know is there anything else i can get to defend myself! could you let me know a little more details,like the OS you are running and the kind of network you are having,or is it just one computer hooked to the net..if so i could help you..
now about trojans and backdoors..as far as i know a trojan or backdoor never just comes by and sit in your computer..it has to planted there either by someone or a program..maybe you are downloading a lot of materials from sites who's repute is questionable..so be careful about your downloads..a good antivirus like norton will yell when it sees sub seven..or maybe a friend of yours who just wants to play a prank on you has out it there..

First up you need a trojan remover.
www.158inc.com/framez.html and go to the appz 2 section.

Get the Cleaner [it's under protection] and this should detect any trojans in your system.

Port scan's etc are the norm so dont worry too much, just block their ip adress through your firewall.

I assume you are running Windows so get HackTracer from www.sharptechnology.com which will log all hack attempts on your computer.

Im pretty sure youre gonna get offered a lot of help on this subject so Ill leave you with that.

I would see if theres any unaccountable outbound/inbound connections on your machine. If there is, setup a packet sniffer to see what's going on..

Port probes dont mean you're getting hacked.

Check for a listening port on 27374, 1337, 31337 etc.

Doesn't seem like a major concern, unless your machines infected.
