ISA Device
I need to configure my modem to connect under Linux. HardD didnt detect my modem so I am assuming that I am using an ISA device. Could anyone tell me how to configure it so I can connect? Also I think I am going to have to write a script here so I could use as much help as possible. My modem is a U.S. Robotics 56k Voice Win version 1.0.00. Thanx Peace.

You may want to try www.linmodems.org and see if your modem is supported there. It sounds like the problem is due to it being a winmodem, not and ISA. Hope this helps. Good luck.
