    OK WTF is the difference between opengl and DIRECT3D

    What is BILINEAR FILTERING

    What is TRILINEAR FILTERING

    why is it that my v00d003 3000 16mb agp sm0kes my friends diamond stealth 64 (AGP) 64MB

    we have the same pc same motherboard run both at the same speed but mine w0rks better..

    Yep, you are correct. Everyone does. Unfortunatly AO is becoming filled with more and more 1337 sp34k3rs. And who also don't know jack, atleast they don't spread their knowledge, of computer security. So, as a farewell... Goodbye AO.

    OpenGL is a open-standard set of instructions for 3d-acceleration, an API, if you will. Like a library, you can use it instead of writing your own graphics functions from scratch.

    Direct3D is similar, but it's a Microsoft-Only thing that M$ likes to use... OpenGL is supported by many other kinds of systems though.

    If I was more familiar with the cards I might be able to tell you, but I dunno. Config error? Depends on a lot of things. Could you elaborate?


    I only use 'L33T' in my sig as a partial joke, really. I vastly prefer 'real' language, it's much better for actual communication.
