I asked on a IRC channel the other day if some of the people there had seen the interview with the FBI agent explaining the Carnivore program and just for a short while I became very important (that's how it is when u have something everybody else want )... And since I'm such a groovy guy with an exceedingly froody archive I'm gonna share this with u too...

It seems like we've been over this. The file is 382 mb and you want us to check it out. With dial up it would take me weeks to download it. Can you just overview it for us please.

in the interview the Carnivore programs are directly and openly showed.... u see the interfaces and all that ****, as it would look on a real Carnivore-box.... Carnivore is simply a small collection of programs... a sniffer, a packeteer and some other normal tools any h4x0r has in his toolbox.... of course there also a lot of questions that the different people (engineers and such) ask the FBI agent, and they all get civilized answers....that's about it...

I've attached the sourcecode for the Altivore program to this post (for those who don't already have it).... this is a small example of some of Carnivores features....
