Paying hackers to destroy porn sites? Ummmm, no.
In addition to being illegal its just plain wrong. Ruining a website because you dont agree with its content is no different than burning a church because you don't agree with what is worshiped there. The way I see it, if you don't want your kid looking at porn, try this: be a damn parent and watch them.
Ignorance is a voluntary misfortune

I'm not really sure how I fall on this. I lean more towards not to hack, but I see some value the other way. One thing is that the person running the porn site will just rebuild it. It is, after all, free speach (as digusting and stupid as it is). You can buy filters for your kids. I would suggest Net Nanny. I would not by Cyber Army, because it is known to cut kids off sites that have different polictical views than its programmers. Well back to the subject. I am a hacker and it is my belief that you should never deface sites. I would like to make it clear that hacking has its good points, and is badly miss-represented. Hacking as it is wrongly known is the art of breaking into computers, pirateing software, defaceing it, and then crashing them. ONLY PUNKS DO THIS IT IS NOT REAL HACKING, JUST JERKS WHO THINK THERE SOMEBODY TO DESTROY PEOPLES STUFF. True hacking is look at the specifications on someones computer and finding what they are running. If you are a real hacker you try and break in, if you do you quickly leave then tell the sysadmin about it so they can secure their site. Hackers are also needed by the government to hack enemy sites, so they can find out valueable information. Hacking and destroying porn, in my humble opinon is WRONG. Besides where in your life if you are a good hacker you might, just might, hack a thousand computers and not get caught --- There will be 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 more sites just like it that people will go to instead.

Porno-sites have just as much right to be on the web as any other sites. The only sites that really deserve to be taken down are child-porn sites (which no-one apart from paedophiles agree with) and sites supporting Bin Laden. Apart from that, the rest is really freedom of speech.

And as I have said before, this is one of the few pieces of material that shouldn't be tolerated. Free speech or not, I doubt anyone on AO agrees with the sexual abuse of children.

I agree that child porn is wrong.... but legal or not, that's the job of the police and such. if hackers attack child porn sites, they are no better then the site admins.... cause it's illegal to hack and child porn is illegal. basically what i am saying is that it's the fbi's job to handle it. by taking matters into your own hands you put yourself at a threat too. and besides, legality of things was not an issue. ethics was the issue. and ethically, it is wrong to hack sites with malicious intent. it gives hackers a bad name. no matter what sites we take down, it'll just make hackers look worse.
after checking out this site.... i think it's a little shady. it looks to me like it could be a sting operation kind of thing. cause it would kill two birds with one stone. it would let them know about illegal porn sites (that would be destroyed) and let them catch hackers..... i wouldn't play with it.
