How to change windows shutdown message?
When you shutdown your PC, Windows-98 features a message saying,'Its now safe to turn off your PC.' Is there any way you can change this message? Please help. Thankx very much!- micromonster@hotmail.com

The three files to look at (under win98) are..
C:\LOGO.SYS --> for startup screen
C:\WINDOWS\LOGOW.SYS --> for whait for shutdown screen
C:\WINDOWS\LOGOS.SYS --> for shutdown screen
There used to be some good sites for ready made replacements one of which is..

If you do a search for these files or startup and shutdown screens you will find more.
