netBIOS a Laugh
Greetings everyone. In a recent article I've read at http://www.neworder.box.sk/newsread.php?newsid=1183
The Neworder member "acideye" discusses the weakness(es)
in the netBIOS protocol. Here is an exempt from the article that i thought many (or may not ) of you may find interesting.
"acideye writes: I'm sure to almost everyone reading this has known the NetBIOS weakness of nearly every Windows Box with file/print sharing on it. Although it use to be fun sometimes and at other times handy it is now beginnning to become (or already is) an annoyance. The NetBIOS service port on Port 139 is an absolute laugh, and isn't it ironic that all the tools you need to perform a "Hack" of this windows port come with a Windows Box. "
