Ok cause you are asking it nice

Do you mean while surfing the net?

You can never realy hide/mask (in theory) your IP for everyone cause your IP is used to deliver the nfo to you. (TCP/IP remember)

    BUT

you can mask your IP by using some tricks:

    - use an anonymizer http://www.anonymizer.com

    - or use some (one or more) public proxy:

there are many lists of public proxies available. (search on AO forum --> this is discussed before)

The basic idea is the following if you use a proxy, the proxy will handle all the requests for you, this way, the other side only sees your proxy IP and never your own (if you use a good proxy).

    little help please

this question might sound really stupid but i was wondering how can i make my computer run through a proxy. at the moment im on a home network with my laptop and the two other computers going through mums which plays the role of the server. can i have some help with how i might change the proxy settings on the non-server computers and if i did would that interfere with how our network runs? thanks
