    Solaris Sparc machine password

    I just recived a couple of older sparc machinces..the only catch was that no one seems to remember what the root passord is..My question to you guys is how do you go about changing the password..if there is a way that is.

    You can boot into single user mode or even easier in the installation window, right click and pop up a terminal. Mount the disk, and you're set. At the boot PROM type boot -s to get into single user mode. more or the less the same as linux
