finger command
alright, please don't flame me. Exactly how do I use the finger command and the whois command?

finger [-l] [user]@computer
-l Displays information in long list format.
user Specifies the user you want information about. Omit the user parameter to display information about all users on the specified computer.
@computer Specifies the server on the remote system whose users you want information about.
whois [ -h host ] identifier
-h host Host which holds the identification information.
identifier Name or host you wish to identify

what would you like to finger!? there are many different type of using finger is with somebody. pointing finger. finger-ring. and different kind of finger that you could think of.
but the best way to know how the finger and whois works try this if you are using linux:
man finger
man whois
\"The more you ignore me... the closer i get!\"
