Question Need to Run Win95/NT software on Win2K.

I am having this problem with a game that used to run on win95 and NT but will not run under win2k... i have tried to speak to the companies support people and they say it wasn't designed for win2k and there is nothing they can do...

I sure they must be something that can be done to get it to run on win2k... MS say that the problem is that win2K doesn't use VxD's anymore...

Does anyone have any ideas or info that i can look at..??

    What game is it ?

...Question is asked. What game ? more 'putor spec's.

You can find, sometimes, things worth knowing at this site:

Sometimes helps applying of w2k SP... I don't know if this would help you but you should try.

Other thing is to start using XP where you can use complatibility mode... but of course this is not the best solution

You could also try using the Windows 2K Compatibility Mode...
This is designed to make programs designed for previous version of Windows work with Windows 2000... just as the XP one is 'supposed' to do....

Now, mind you, its rather sketchy, and I've yet to see it work....

Anyway, for you I give this link to try aid you...
