Kill the Anonymous AntiPoints!
I'm sure that many have already expressed their feelings on this issue, but I seriously think that you should have to tell who the AntiPoints are from. When they're positive AntiPoints, I like to thank the people who gave them to me. When negative ones are given to me, I would like to know who gave them to me so I can find out what in my post they disagreed with. Just an idea, although a very serious suggestion on my part.
Thanks for the consideration

I know you\'re out there. I can feel you now. I know that you\'re afraid. You\'re afraid of us. You\'re afraid of change. I don\'t know the future. I didn\'t come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it\'s going to begin. I\'m going to hang up this phone, and then I\'m going to show these people what you don\'t want them to see. I\'m going to show them a world without you, a world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

I don't think it's gonna happen for various reasons. It will promote antipoint-feuds, for one thing...
Rather, which I DO think is a good idea, is ALWAYS including the POST information, that is, which post the antipoints were given about.
EDIT/ADD:
Just to clarify, whenever the user leaves a comment, you can click on the comment to go to the post... but if they dont... An easy way to do this would be to have javascript insert a comment like "-No comment-" if the user submitted a blank comment. Thus the reciever could always know which post was being recieved badly (or well).

hmm... well maybe there should be a way to anonymously send PM's to the giver of the AntiPoints... because sometimes I would REALLY like to know what was so objectionable in my posts that I deserved the negative AntiPoints, and also what was so great about the posts that I got the positive ones. I'm not sure if this is even workable, but I do think it would be a good improvement to the AntiPoint system.

Antipoints?
I agree with Phire Phreak... people should start putting thier userhandles on their AntiPoint giving. Even when they are negative... I hate getting negative antipoints anonymously...
Welcome to Hell , where we have served more than all of the fast food chains put together! And the number grows everyday! Stay tuned!

This argument has been shot down many times before. I should know, as I have tried fighting a similar battle myself. You cannot win this one, so you might as well give up. All you can do is filter through them the best you can without signatures. I try to sign all my positive AntiPoints, but I won't sign my negative ones. Many people would retaliate if I did. However, I never give out negative points without a good reason. If I accidently give out points that I shouldn't have, I go back later and give the person positive ones. That has only happened once so far. Anyway, you can only hope the majority of the people continue to be honest with their submissions.

Greetings All:
The anonymous AntiPoints are not going away. If I start having it post a user's handle next to the antipoint designation, it will lead to nothing but problems. TRUST ME on this one!
I am in the process of making several additions/revisions to the AntiPoints system that should help make things even better than they are now. Adding a user's handle next to the antipoint designation, however, is not one of them!
