    Question AOL Protocol

    Does anybody know where i could get the aol protocol so i could drop the aol software and just use dial up networking through windows????

    i really never heard of anyone duplicating it. i don't think anybody really wants too.

    you don't have to use aols interface once your loged on. just minimize it and open ie, opera or whatever.
    I got aol because my girl friend is compleatly computer illiterate, but i also have a uunet account. still i find myself using aol. what im trying to say is, get a second account, a free or cheap (6.95) one if you need to use ras. i suppose you have a reason for keeping aol, just like i do, but that dosn't mean it has to be the only one on your computer.
