We have not begun to see
Hello Ladies and Gents its me the proverbial pain in the tail.First of all i am no expert in the virus field but i firmly believe one good way to eliminate Many of the viruses today is to somehow make executable files read only ,and to obviously patch up os flaws or email clients flaws .Now why such a strong subject "We have not begun to see" I believe that the future of as it pertains to viruses is a bleak one at best ,just think are we prepared . where i am employed because theres such a lack of knowledge pertaining to security we incurred a cost of $100,000 for the nimda virus . I guess with all of the vbs script worms we forgot about all of the multipartide boot sector viruses .
I hope we are ready assembly language is still out there

Evil...if you make a .exe file read only how can you execute it Do you mean to make .exe files uneditable?
As for assembly language I posted this potential threat a while back:

It just a "concept" virus I thought up and was concerned about..check it out.
