PMs now IM - WooHoo!
Greetings All:
I've added a sort of "instant messaging" feature to the Private Message system. If you're surfing the site, you'll see a pop-up window that will alert you the second a new PM arrives into your in-box. So, if you want to have a user that's surfing the boards meet you in the chatroom, or whatever, you can shoot them a PM, the prompt will appear as they're surfing the site, and they'll get your message right away.
Enjoy!

Well, I got one... but it came out something like:
"You have recieved a message from entitled "", would you like to read it?"
In other words, blank username, blank topic, and there wasn't a message in my PM box. Maybe a browser issue? (Opera 6)
EDIT/ADD:
Update, it seems my PM box was full... so that explains part of it, anyway.

Greetings:
Well, the first time each user visits the site, they'll get a "false notification", because each user's PM entry variable will be null to start with. Once the first "false notification" occurs, their database entry will be updated, and it won't happen again. Also, this error won't occur for users that register after this feature was added.
