Re: IRC: Antibot
I agree with you.. I think the bot should come back.
I'd also like to see the !Commands back too.

This was a great idea everyone, but you should have posted this in the site suggestions area so that we know JP is more likely to read it, but at the same time if anyone sees JP on the irc, beg him for the bot back. I feel it is necessary to have the bot to prevent someone from pretending to be who they are not.

mIRC/Xchat auto-identification...
Remember to add in some scripting to make sure Antibot is the REAL antibot! Otherwise you're pretty much giving your account away! Good checks would be to make sure Antibot is a server-operator, or whatever kind of status it gets that lets it change your name.

All I'm saying is, just-in-case... Be safe. I mean, you never know, it might accidentally trigger when the system is newly upgraded and glitched, or your client might do it in the wrong IRC network, etc.

Yes! Please bring back AntiBot if the only reason it was removed was that some slackards couldnt take the time to Ident themselves.
I had thought it was off just for programmatic reasons - code tweaks???
I miss knowing who ppl really are and not being suspicious that everyone is pretending to be someone they're not.
I miss the commands too.

well my guess would be is that you have an o-line or atleast that nickname as an o-line or a role in the network and for some reason JP hasnt set that settings properly yet... Coz that msg was meant for ppl who are trying to use your nick just for the o-line.. but thats just all a guess...
