Yes. There are vb compilers. The results may be 'if-y'

    Maybe

If you can turn back any code (*.exe) into machine language assembleur (In French, sorry don't remember the English word) or in Hex but in real VB language from a exe, you don't think it can be done.

there are tools used for reverse eng. and i got one called vbdecompilation but the only disadvantage is that it only showa the obects that are used in the form and will not show the code or the logic behind it
but i am keep looking and working on a tool which i think will not fully but give me some view of the login implemented

good job, warl0ck7... but beware of 'bump-trolls...' this post is from 2002...

Some members, we won't say who (*cough* |the|Specialist *cough*) entertain themselves by bumping up old posts...

BTW - isn't this a "computer security" site??? You'd think that the mods could figure out something to do about this... like, I dunno, maybe *DISABLE THE ****ING BUMP OPTION FOR MEMBERS w/out 'X' AMOUNT OF POSTS!!???*

    just a thought...

Years back you could also force the site to open a profile instead of the main page. This was back when JP ran things and the main page was like that for days. There was also a bug that allowed the average joe to *cough "close" a thread. Actually it just pushed the reply stuff off page.

But bumping... you can bump the same thread multiple times, as many times as you want infact. Some of you may remember one particular bump rampage seemingly freezeing the main page to the year 2002 for over a week.

I don't care how long I need to hide under yet another proxy along with a less obvious online monkier... im still going to poke fun at this site and at everyone's expense... that is intil Christina picks me up from an airport, other members are dealt with, or I get one of my accounts back.

    lmao...

    true vigilante you are, Specialist...

but perhaps for a lost cause??? (Christina ain't gonna pick you up from the airport...)

all the same, I *do* believe a "computer security" site should be immune from such amateur "attacks" (shall we even call them "attacks"??? annoyances may be a better word...) such as these...

Perhaps it's more complex than it seems... can't very well ban people behind proxies... so I guess it comes down to what options that we can limit to new members... And even then - what keeps guys such as the Specialist from posting 200 times a night (or whatever 'x' may be) and *then* bumping up old posts... shall we disable the bump feature altogether? Sacrifice functionality for security?

You actually have to respect what |the|Specialist is doing... jackass that he may be... forcing a computer security site to... well, secure their site... albeit by going the most immature and unskilled route...

so... are our AO mods up to the task!?? or has |the|Specialist simply become 'the turd that just won't flush" ???
