    Cool Crackdown on "spam" e-mail

    WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Federal regulators kicked off a crackdown on the junk e-mail known as "spam" on Tuesday with an announcement that they had settled charges against seven people accused of running an e-mail pyramid scheme.

    cough.(i know some depend on this), cough...but, I for one am dam tired of receiving 60 emails and two are for me! My wife is tired of geting email on how to increase her penis size!

    Its gotten way out of hand and something has to be done.

    yeah, i feel bad for aol users. i have a temp account set up, i don't even log into that anymore, but when i do like once a week i have like 50 emails about pr0n =\ and i don't even use that account to surf or anything.

    Does hotmail have a built-in spam system?
    You can't imagine the amount of porn I get everyday on my hotmail account.
    On my yahoo one, I have *never* gotten any spam.
    What's the deal?

    hotmail is nasty with spam... my friend gets about 500 spam letters in it every 3 days... and she isent even ont the internet at her house, she only checks is once a month
