connecting to linux box from Macintosh
Hi All,
I am trying to connect to a iMac running MacOS 9.1 to a Linux box running RH7.0. These two are indipendently connected to a common ethernet based LAN. What are the possible methods of going about it? Any leads would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You could try by getting an SSH client for the Mac and use that.
At the very least you should be able to use your web browser and something like webmin to perform some admin stuff on the *nix box.
If your having more basic problems (ie: can't ping one machine from the other) then you'll need to ensure that bot machines are on the network etc etc.
Have fun!
