It would be cool to have a option in the "edit your details" section that allows you to display what type of connection you have (eg. 56k modem, cable, ADSL). This way people could see what technologies people in different areas/countries are using for their Internet access. People could talk to others about technologies that they're interesting in.
Someone could ask, "Hey man, I noticed that you're from around where I live, what's cable modem access like for you?"
This could spark some interesting posts/conversations. Just a suggestion. What do people think?
