The Best Firewall!
Since Firewalls are such a hot topic here at www.antionline.com and everyone uses them I want to know what you think is the best firewall And the "sorry ones" out there on the market. Now all these firewalls have exploits and are not 100% hacker-proof but again what is? I would have put more but my limit was 10. These are the one's I see and here about the most...

[glowpurple]manually editing your config files can break them. If this happens, you get to keep both pieces. [/glowpurple]

It all depends on the need you have and what functions and features you want in a firewall, and ofcourse how much money you want to spend on it.
I decided to not vote on any of the above since all of them not are in the same "category" and many good firewalls are left out. If I have to vote I would vote for jcdux's solution since its a good and stable firewall which can do many things and still are cheap to build.
But this is ofcourse imho and everyone should nurse their own opinion and stand for it .

I have 2 firewalls on my network ... an expensive Cisco Pix 515 and a not so expensive Phoenix Adaptive Firewall that resides on a Linux Box .... for me the Phoenix Firewall has made the difference , the Cisco one SuXXxxxx Big time .... a lot of the bad guys know all the funny glitches of the pix ... hasnt been the same thing with the Phoenix
My humble opinion anyways
