if anybody has been reading from slashdot today, they'd notice a nice little submission
RIAA
you can almost treat them lke M$...trying to bully the others out when the revenue is slightly lower than it was the previous year...take a look at the figures, it's disgusting

i had the RIAA BREAK INTO my personal FTP site, then call me on the phone, and tell me im not allowed to have mp3s on it. (it was the riaa, not a friend, cause i reverse looked up the number)

They are whores, all of them.
MP3's have actually increased record sales, not the reverse. I guess they are kinda like the Catholic church; They get pissed if you use the lord's name and then don't give them a cut of the money. hehehe
Mankind have a great aversion to intellectual labor; but even supposing knowledge to be easily attainable, more people would be content to be ignorant than would take even a little trouble to acquire it.
