Augmented Reality, now used by the military in the field to aid in logistics and doctors in the operating room (Ultrasound Visualization), has now taken a pretty interesting twist

Columbia University has made a prototype for a new device they call MARS, for mobile augmented reality system. A visor like devise worn over the eyes capable of superimposing text, graphics, 3-D animation, sound, or any other digitized data on top of the real world. ( What is real, Neo…)

It’s capable of displaying architectural drawings of buildings your looking at while your looking at them, information on people you see, footnotes too everything. wonder if they have a nude database ;-)
