When I was really young, we lived in major farm country in Indiana...there were cows everywhere, and my dad told me that the ones that stayed in the pastures with hills were really special cows, because they had legs shorter on one side than on the other, so they wouldn't fall off....lol. I won't tell you how old I was before I figured out he was not exactly telling the truth.
I also thought that as long as you had checks in your checkbook, that was just like having money in your hand. I didn't understand why we couldn't just write a check for everything I wanted....
