    How do you think?

I found this on one of my old floppies and deciced to post it (in case you haven't noticed (about me posting it I mean )).

Anyway these questions test how you think. Don't cheat, try to answer the questions first before scrolling down to see the answer.

    Questions:

    1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

    The correct answer is:
Open the refrigerator door, put in the giraffe and close the door.

This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly complicated way.

    2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

    Wrong Answer:
Open the refrigerator door, put in the elephant and close the refrigerator.

    Correct Answer:
Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door.

This tests your ability to > think through the repercussions of your actions.

    3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend except one.
    Which animal does not attend?

    Correct Answer:
    The Elephant.
The Elephant is in the refrigerator.
This tests your memory. OK, even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly,
you still have one more chance to show your abilities.

    4. There is a river you must cross. But it is inhabited bycrocodiles.
    How do you manage it?

    Correct Answer:
You swim across. All the Crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting.

This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.
    According to Andersen Consulting Worldwide,
around 90% of the professionals they tested got all questions wrong.
But many preschoolers got several correct answers.
AndersonConsulting says this conclusively disproves the theory that most professionals have the brains of a four year old.

    The End
If you don\'t learn the rules nobody can accuse of cheating.

This refrigerator must be either very big, or the animals must be very small.... I was thinking more along the lines of chainsaws, meat grinders, and plastic bags. but it was a funny joke, and i am glad no harm came to the animals, that would have been dissapointing

I love how it says that kids get the questions right, but professionals get the questions wrong. Thats like saying what color is the sky? grey, because it is raining. The answers are considered correct because that is what the people that wrote the questions said the answers were. Ask a bunch of kids a question, take the most common answer, and say that is the right answer. Ask the same question to a group of adults, and chances are, most of the adults will get it wrong. I would have a hard time hiring someone who had the mentality of a 6 year old, but that is what it takes to get all the answers right.

I'm in agreement with Mr Jones...i wanted to cram them in. And furthermore, if you can fit a giraffe in one refrigerator..why not go out on a limb and say the elephant can fit at the same time? As for the river and crocs....why not a boat? I'm too lazy to swim.
