google under attack
the german gov. has started legal proceeding against google with yahoo and altavista to follow. it seems people in germany can find infomation on sabotaging trains on the internet using these search engines...duhh!
http://www.infoworld.com/articles/hn...16hngoogle.xml
looks like its information that causes unrest.
but i was rather pleased with their comment:

What the hell. It’s not googles job to censor stuff.
Its not software piracy. I’m just making multiple off site backups.

Very interesting article.
"There is no chance to sue them in the U.S. You are really allowed to put anything on the Internet there," Schreyer said.
Just have 2 words to say about that. . . Hell yeah! ! ! heh. I say bring it on.
"Never give in-never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy!" - Winston Churchill

Heh, So what if you go on a number of anarchy sites you will see the terrorists handbook, the poor mans james bond, and the anarchy cookbook... I dont see germany complaining about detailed instructions on how to make pipe bombs and such!

I dont see them winning the case I believe somwhere on google and the rest it says something along the lines of "we cannot be held responsable for information on the pages indexed" also common sense tells you that they cant check every single page they have indexed especially when they are as large as google etc. This takes us back to 85 when various governments banned the internet from homes alltogether.

or maybe they should be spending their time and effort trying to correct conditions that lead people to want to use such information.

For once, it's a matter where they're pretty much hosed because the site's hosted in the US. How many times have we wanted to **** someone up legally but couldn't because they're in another country or the site's outside of US boundaries, etc etc...
Suck it up...
We the willing, led by the unknowing, have been doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so little for so long that we are now qualified to do just about anything with almost nothing.

ac1dsp3ctrum: well there´s been alot of fighting around those "nuclear trains" and as most (al?) people stop at trying to kill the police the trains have become valid targets.
but as for the electronic part of the matter, google rushed to please them.. again
*off looking for another search engine*
