    broadband availability Quesstion

    ok i have Try and Try for years to get dsl and calbe out here try Sat that was a bust cue i play twicth games now i know i am in range for DSL but they said there is not a open loop i was wondering if it would be possable to PAY them to put in another dang Loop?? pigered i would ask here berfore i waste my time on teh phone

    I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to ask them, but I don't know if you want to take care of the charges that would be billed to you when the loop was put in.

    I would check with your neighibors they may want it too The way I look at it if more people in your area want it the more likely the dsl company will take the time to put another loop in.

    Not knowing your area, have you thought about other options like satellite and/or cable?

    I'm on cable and get really good speed rates because I'm one of the few in my area that uses it. The main activity for others in the area is drug dealing, prostitution and swearing their heads off at each. (makes for great summer amusement).
