    Thumbs down JP's Obsessed Fanboy's

    I sit in antionline irc and talk to people, and I realize that for some odd reason, there are people who are obsessed with JP. I cant figure it out. The second JP enters the channel, everybody greets him, and generally starts kissing his ass. I generally ignore him, after all he rarely talks to me, and much better conversation is had chatting with Redgore, RiOtEr, evil_enchilada, Negative, and the rest. The newbies come in to talk to him and generally talk about how great they think he is, but they don't even know the guy. Hell even after I talk to them, help them with a problem, and be generally nice, they still like JP more than me, even though he ignored them. What do they think, that he will bestow great honors on them or something? He doesnt have magical powers or anything, hes no better than the rest of us, so get over your silly little obsessions and think for yourself.

    i dont personaly like him for my own reasons, but i only talk to him when i have a suggestion or problem or question with the site. As for his ass kissing crew, thats basicly anyone with under 5 green boxs

    People kiss his ass in chat because they think he's some skilled hacker that will "show"them the way.

    Of course people suck up to JP on IRC, a lot of them will be trying to get OP or mod access on AO, if you own a site as influencial as this then people will suck up to you and it will be painfully obvious when they do so.
