Anyone who thinks Microsoft blows and that open source is the best should post an agreement. Then I'll show this to all my friends who aren't at least in a dual boot config.........

I have a feeling you posted this thread using windows. Well anyways...If your friends like windows why would you want them on linux? If they like paying 300$ or however much it is for windows, let them. If they feel safe, let them. they will figure it out someday...hopefully..

Windows is mainly used for games. If it weren't for the gaming community, there'd be a significant number of users out there (mainly, the smarter ones) using linux or mac OS X. Sure, MS has the desktop for businesses but that's only because 98% of all business users are general morons (at least the 98% that I've run into, hehe..).
We the willing, led by the unknowing, have been doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so little for so long that we are now qualified to do just about anything with almost nothing.
