Linux Question
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem?
Every time I log in I recieve a error message in the xconsole stating that Linux cannot find the modules for my sound card and I must re configure the modules in order for the sound card to be recognized. I am using SuSE 7.3 and my sound card is the AC 97' SoundMax card that is built in to the intel D8155EEA motherboard.

Has te soundcard always been working?
If so, then start Yast, goto soundcard and see what is has detected, if it has installed a soundcard then deleter it and add the soundcard manually, I don't know if thecard you have is currently supported, check in the supported hardware database at www.suse.com to see if it works 100%

The sound card does work, The process you sugessted is the same process I have to go through every time I logon or reboot. I checked the hardware database before I installed linux and as far as I can tell it is fully supported.
