I'm just wondering if Office 2000 will work in Windows XP?

I can't think of any reasons why it wouldn’t work. I know office 97 will run in xp so I would assume that 2000 would.
Its not software piracy. I’m just making multiple off site backups.

Yeah, Office 2000 works fine on Windows XP. I only have one copy of Office XP (to play around with on this machine), but have licenses for 2000 on the rest of my machines (NT, 2000 and XP). I haven't had any problems, though I do recommend ensuring that you update your Office installation, because some of the patches fix some problems you may experience on XP.

Office 2000 ( as well as Office 97 ) work fine on XP home and Pro......Suggestion though, if you have Home Edition "upgrade" to Pro. Pro is more stable due to it actually BEING a networking OS.
