Not to mention, but your other post kinda pissed me off a bit..
This was his post in JP's new feature: suicidal threads thread:
Dude JP that's lame who really cares.
At least my nose isn't brown like some of you people geez
JP puts alot of time, money and effort into this site. Your negative comments are not needed.

i understand where youre coming from and it's true that some of the old members in this site doesn't wanna give newbies a chance. They quickly give you a negative for making mistakes and now that I reply on this thread, i might get a negative point too. I don't even care if they give me a negative point. I just don't wanna get banned and make a fresh name. I see some old members contributing with 1 - 3 words and i don't think they're getting negative points for it coz they know each other. You should just delete this thread and get on with browsing this site for useful tutorials. I'm sure you didn't register to this site just to earn Antipoints or Higher the number of your posts. This site has some nice tutorials so why leave.
It's easy to be a jerk and hard to be nice.

I don't agree with Suspect all the way there, but the one thing I do agree about is :
. I see some old members contributing with 1 - 3 words
I'v been slamed with negs for saything things like 'nice job' or 'good posts' while the older members do it all the time and no one says anything.

here is the thing.... speaking as an old memeber... it's not that we don't like newbies... but if newbies come to the site and would just take the 5 minutes to read the faq and stuff, they wouldn't get in trouble. it is quite obvious the things that a person should and should not do here. there are numerous places that a newb can look to find out what will get him/her in trouble, not to mention, the old members have been more tolerant lately... i mean, there has been plenty of threads where the newbs don't get a red blast, but are advised to delete or edit the thread... if they do not then they are foolish and deserve the red.

The reason that older members aren't affected is not necessarily because they are known by others, it's because they are *respected* by others. I personally would never give negative points to someone who makes a short post, but I do know some members who feel that irrelavent posts are a good opportunity to balance their antipoints. I think everyone here wants to give newbies a chance, but you have to earn respect, it's that simple. Make a few good posts, and people will start to notice you and check out your posts. Use ntsa as an example. He's had fewer posts than me, but *way* more greenies. He was a newbie, just like everyone else, not that long ago. After posting very good tutorials, however, he quickly became a well-known and well-respected member. Pay attention to your elders (the senior members) and don't post things asking how to hack, b*tching about antipoints, etc., and hopefully you'll become another good addition to this community. If you do insist upon begging others how to hack, etc., I recommend you find another community which will welcome more kiddies with their arms open.
