Thread: logging out

    logging out

    Whenever I log out, and come back later, I always find myself logged back in. Is this supposed to be happening? Can I edit the cookies to stop this? I don't want somebody in my family making dumb posts just for fun, and to get me annoyed.

    Alright, look under Member Functions and near the very bottom of the list should be a edit site options link. In there, choose to not use cookies to log in when you automatically return to the site. Without cookies turned on, you should no longer log in automatically.

    Warrior is right, go to your site options and make sure:

    Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)
    IS NOT selected

    and make sure that you keep

    Browse board with cookies?
    SELECTED
    (I strongly advise against using our site without cookies. We REALLY don't support the session based logins that we offer.)
