" registering a dll file"
hello friends
well in my earlier post i asked abt IE problem to which some AOer told that u register a dll file by doing
"to register a dll do regsvr32 <dllName> "
now where will be executing this command wasnt told,,so it iwll be really nice if someone told me which program to use this icmmand
any help is welcome

either in strat | run
or in a command prompt

thanx ammo
it did run from the run command but it didnt fomr the command prompt...
secondthing ,,,
is it necesaary to remain online to do the registration

no, no need to be online for the registration...
registering a dll as actually nothing to do with internet access, it's about letting the operating system (windows) know that this dll exists and where it is abvailble...
