bitten by w32.kitro.c.worm
help required!! last week i managed to open a email attachment containing the above worm, i managed to erase all the files which were included in this worm with the help of my antivirus 44 files in total stored in the windows folder. since this i have been left with the windows files folder opening on bootup, and on shutting down i have been having to shut down explorer.exe because this has not been shutting down properly? what can be done to fix this problem, can i do it my self or do i need a expert? many thanx rob

Have you cleaned up the registry? Check for the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Look for and delete the following values:
KAZAACuF, PAV.EXE, Zonavirus and BNexe
