.:Hurt/Something I Can Never Have:.
.:Hurt:.
i hurt myself today, to see if i still feel. i focus on the pain, the only thing that's real
the needle tears a hole, that old familiar thing. try to kill it all away, but i remember everything
what have i become, my sweetest friend? everyone i know goes away in the end
you could have it all, my empire of dirt. i will let you down, i will make you hurt
i wear my crown of **** on my liar's chair, full of broken thoughts i cannot repair
beneath the stain of time the feelings disappear. you are someone else, i am still right here
what have i become, my sweetest friend? everyone i know goes away in the end
you could have it all, my empire of dirt. i will let you down, i will make you hurt
if i could start again, a million miles away, i would keep myself, i would find a way
.:Something I Can Never Have:.
i still recall the taste of my tears. echoing your voice just like the ringing in my ears
my favorite dreams of you still wash ashore, scraping through my head 'till i don't want to sleep anymore
come on tell me. make this all go away. you make this all go away. i'm down to just one thing & i'm starting to scare myself
you make this all go away. you make this all go away. i just want something. i just want something i can never have
you always were the one to show me how. back then i couldn't do the things that i can do now
this thing is slowly taking me apart. grey would be the color if i had a heart
in this place it seems like such a shame. though it all looks different now, i know it's still the same
everywhere i look you're all i see. just a fading ****ing reminder of who i used to be
i just want something i can never have. think i know what you meant. that night on my bed
still picking at this scab. i wish you were dead. your sweat & perry ellis. just stains on my sheets

Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue
Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand.
For they could not love you
But still, your love was true
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do--
But I could've told you, Vincent:
This world was never meant
For one as beautiful as you.
Vincent - Don Mclean
"I'm not the one who's so far away
When I feel the snake bit enter my veins.
Never did I wanna be here again,
And I don't remember why I came."
Candles raise my desire,
Why I'm so far away.
No more meaning to my life,
No more reason to stay.
Hazing clouds rain on my head,
Empty thoughts fill my ears.
Find my shade by the moonlight,
Why my thoughts aren't so clear.
Demons dreaming,
Breathe in, breathe in...
I'm coming back again...

Imagine there's no heaven,
It's easy if you try,
No hell below us,
Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people
living for today...
Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...
Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say Im a dreamer,
but Im not the only one,
I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will live as one.
Imagine/John Lennon

Fearless people,
Careless needle.
Harsh words spoken,
And lives are broken.
Forceful ageing,
Help me I'm fading.
Heaven's waiting,
It's time to move on.
Crossing that bridge,
With lessons I've learned.
Playing with fire,
And not getting burned.
I may not know what you're going through.
But time is the space,
Between me and you.
Life carries on... it goes on.
There is a light through that window
Hold on say yes, while people say no
Prayer for the dying by Seal
Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it. -Reaper Man

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange
a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl,
year after year,
running over the same old ground. What have we found?
The same old fears,
wish you were here.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Probably one of my favorite songs, and by far one of the most effecting to me, at times it can almost bring me to tears.

Some Kind of Stranger - Sisters of Mercy
Because the world is cruel and
Promises are broken
Don't try to tell me
Anything don't try to tell me
You'll be true to me you know the
Real truth is never spoken
And I know the world is cold but
If you hold on tight to what you
Find you might not mind too much though
Even this must pass away and
Memories may last for years but
Names are just for souvenirs
Some kind of angel let me
Look into your eyes
Don't give me whys and wherefores
Reason or surprise
I don't care for words that don't belong
And I don't care what you're called
Tell me later if at all
I can wait a long long time
Before I hear another love song
Come here I think you're beautiful
My door is open wide
Some kind of angel come inside
Untitled
Gleaming in the moonlight
beneath the shroud of her own sin
the twisted blade caresses virgin flesh
coldly tearing at the skin.
Blood runs down her fingertips
crimson teardrops hit the floor
painting the satin dress of white
with it's dark poisoned downpour
The flow moves faster with each breath
unrelenting self-despair
tears of joy left stripped to pain
remnants of the last nightmare
The weakness comes so easily
and yet, there's nothing left to fear
The darkness comes much closer now
and soon he will be here.
Enchanting her within his tale
He'll sweep her in his lies
From her chest ripping a heart once of love
Leaving her empty when she dies.
She'll look at him in sadness
in a state of full denial
He'll touch her with his dirty hands
and hang on for a while
He'll pull her close into his arms
against his heartless chest
And whisper hateful words to her
all his sins he will confess
Until he breathes a solemn icy kiss
against her lips so cold and pale
and eyes once bright close quick with death
behind the bloodstained wedding veil.
He'll lift her up into his arms
carrying her into the night
and abandon her, and walk away
leaving her beneath the cold twilight.

Something for Nothing
This is taking from the first album in Rush's remarkable trilogy "2112"
The trilogy is about the future when creativity and technology are outlawed(as well as music)
Waiting for the winds of change to sweep the clouds away
Waiting for the rainbows end to cast it's glow your way
countless ways......you pass the days
waiting for someone to come and turn your life around
looking for the answer to the question you have found
looking for........an open door
But you don't get something for nothing
you can't have your freedom for free
you won't get wise with the sleep still in your eyes
no matter what your dreams may be
what you own is your own kingdom
what you believe is your own lie
what you love is your own power
what you do is your own choice
Pick your head up..lets find the answer....and let it guide us to love
Lets let our hearts be the anchor..and the beat of our souls
No you don't get something for nothing you can't have your freedom for free
___________________________________________________________________________
This is taking from Robin Trowers "Bridge of Sighs"
The sun don't shine the moon don't move
the tides to wash me clean
The sun don't shine the moon don't move
the tides to wash me clean
why so unforgiving....why am I so cold?
I been along time crossing bridge of sighs
the cold wind blows and God looks down in anger on this poor child
the cold wind blows and God looks down in anger on this poor child
why so unforgiving....why am I so cold?
I been along time crossing bridge of sighs

The lyrics that mean the most to me right now are:
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day,
fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way
Pink Floyd, Time, Darkside of the Moon
Civilization. The death of dreams.
