I have a BIOS KILL program if u want.. it came handy when some arse cracked into the cmos setup of one of our workstations and changed the memory to 0 so when the pc was restarted all u see is colors but before he did that, he changed the password..
So i had to set the memory back to 16K.. to do that.. i simply used a boot disk which takes me to MSDOS and i put the folppy which contained the BIOS kill program in.. and since i already memorised the commands for the program i simply blindly typed in the commands (since all i see is colors) and killed the BIOS and set everything back to default. and set the memory back to 16K and everythign else back to what it used to be.

Although most of the discussion seems to revolve around cracking the BIOS password, I would like to second the advice of white_dragon. See if you can't find the documentation (look on web at the manufacturer's site) for that model of computer and you can usually find the jumper settings necessary to reset the BIOS. The motherboard documenation should be more than adequate to do this and the whole thing put together shouldn't take you much more than about half an hour (bout 15-20 minutes to find it, about 3 minutes a boot (requires 2, one to flash clean, one to come up)) and you don't have to worry (assuming it is a modern BIOS that can self-detect its settings) about doing any damage or monkeying with the battery...

There is only one constant, one universal, it is the only real truth: causality. Action. Reaction. Cause and effect...There is no escape from it, we are forever slaves to it. Our only hope, our only peace is to understand it, to understand the 'why'. 'Why' is what separates us from them, you from me. 'Why' is the only real social power, without it you are powerless.

Most Motherbords have a BIOS Reset jumper. If you can't find it on the motherbord (it's usually labeled) find the site of whatever company made the bord and download the manule. Its proboly esier then cracking the password
