If you are referring to the setting:

Use 'Email Notification' by default? NO
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

If this setting is set to no, the checkbox for email notification is unchecked by default when replying to a thread. If you then manually check this box or subscribe to the thread you will get the e-mail notification.

but the ones that i do subscrobe to keep sending me notifications

The ONLY advantage I can see to subscribing to a thread would be to get the e-mail notifications when someone replies.

If that is not the option you were speaking of please point it out.

thats the option i was talking about but i was under the impression that that option, stops the email notification indefinately, but thanks for the heads up
