Guys,
A new threat on the net.
In what security experts are calling the worst attack since Code Red, a worm that exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft's SQL Server database software spread rapidly through the Internet over the weekend. .....and as usual the exploited code could have been patched weeks ago..... Just like code red.... Funny that huh?
Here are 5 pieces of advice for those who manage publicly accessible resources on the internet.
1. Patch it.
2. Patch it again.
3. Go back to make sure you patched it.
4. When you think it's patched check it again.
5. Now go back to step 1.

Funny one:
A- This worm isn't about win2000. It's about sql server 2000.
B- You are comparing win2000 to apache... win2000 is an OS, Apache is a web server.
C- This has nothing to do with apache or any web server as it is targeted at sql server 2000, a DBMS (database managment system, ie database server).
