Man shoot computer 4 times
Man Shoots Computer 4 Times
A bar owner in the US has been charged after shooting his laptop computer.
George Doughty is said to have fired four bullets into the Dell computer in the middle of his bar and restaurant in Lafayette, Colorado.
Police say he then hung the destroyed machine on the wall like a hunting trophy.
Doughty, 48, entered the bar from his office, announced he was going to shoot his computer and returned to his office, reports the Knox news website.
Police say 30 minutes later Doughty set his laptop on the floor, warned two customers at the bar to cover their ears and fired away. No one was injured.
Doughty is accused of putting the customers and bartender in danger and was arrested on suspicion of menacing, reckless endangerment and prohibited use of weapons.

Hehe. Looks like someone got a tad bit angry at his computer. Remember children, violence is never the answer.

Uraloony, please understand I hold you in the utmost respect, and by no means am I attempting to flame/shoot down a senior member.
Please accept my most humble apologies...

What I want to know is why he only shot it four times. I'm thinking of a few computers around here I'd like to unload a thirty-round clip into. As for the sense's of humor of the police around here, they do tend to run a bit dry. It's not so much that they don't have one, it's just they tend to have rather sadistic versions. They are probably laughing still, and I think this incident happened a long time ago, because I remember reading about it somewhere else. They're thinking: 'Ha, some guy shot his computer as a joke....and then we pressed a lot of charges! Hahahahaha!' Oh well.

First off, why can't you beleive you are doing this? My guess is because you are worried you are going to get hit with mass amounts of negative AP's. Don't worry man! Secondly, senior members are people too, we aren't some sort of god to set upon a pedestal. And lastly, there is no need to apologize, thanks for pointing out my mistake.
I did a search for "man shoots dell laptop" or something along those lines before I posted and nothing came up... So I did check, it was just worded a different way in the other article posted, so it wasn't found. Sorry everyone about the double post.
I think that if a person feels he can't post his true feelings about something when it involves a senior member, then whats the point of posting at all? Something to think about.

Well according to this story it was due to crashing too often. Guess he "won't be getting a dell" again.

The really funny thing is when a "not so senior" member trys to neg a real senior member. Don't it kinda tickle when you visit your AP center and find multitudes of little gray and red dots, but don't ever notice any change to your point status?
Very good response to an ooops thread uraloony.
I have a question; are you the bug, or the windshield?
